The Hong Kong MTR (Shatin to Central Line) Undersea Tunnel, with a total length of 1,663.4 meters, is a large-scale expansion project that spans multiple districts in Hong Kong and connects multiple existing railway lines. It is of great significance for expanding the coverage of Hong Kong MTR services and strengthening the connection between the New Territories and Hong Kong Island.
Cranes are essential construction machinery for undersea tunnel projects. The heavy-duty hooks (with a lifting capacity of 20,000 tons) we design and manufacture are used in cranes. When participating in the Hong Kong MTR (Shatin to Central Link) undersea tunnel project, the overall design scheme of the heavy-duty hooks we provided was highly recognized by the project chief engineer and the customer satisfaction was high.
